Thread Lifts
The primary purpose of a thread lift is to lift and tighten sagging skin, primarily on the face and neck.
The treatment helps improve facial contours, reduce wrinkles, and enhance skin texture by using threads that lift and support the skin while stimulating collagen production for longer-lasting results.
A thread lift is a procedure that involves the use of temporary sutures to create a subtle yet noticeable "lift" in the skin. Instead of opting for surgical removal of the person's loose facial skin, the licensed provider uses these sutures to suspend and stitch up specific portions of the skin. This technique results in a slight pulling back of the skin, effectively providing a lift and tightening effect on the face. Beyond its lifting capabilities, thread lifts contribute to anti-aging by triggering the body's "healing response," prompting a significant influx of collagen to the treated areas. This is crucial due to the pivotal role collagen plays in the aging process.
This procedure offers continuous and gradual rejuvenation for facial tissues. People opting for a thread lift to stimulate collagen will experience a progressive enhancement in their skin's tone and firmness. As long as the threads remain in position, the body's healing response stays active, aiming to "heal" the sutured areas and naturally expel the sutures. This biological reaction occurs when the body detects a foreign object in the dermis. Fortunately, because the threads inserted during a thread lift are extremely small, patients typically do not perceive any sensation of this process. Once the skin has healed around them, most individuals are unable to feel the sutures at all.

What to expect during your appointment:
After completing necessary forms, we will take photos for your chart before we start the treatment. You will then meet with a provider who will discuss your concerns and will do a consultation with a recommendation of treatment plan. The number of threads needed for desired results depends on how many treatment areas need to be done as well as skin laxity. We provide a local anesthetic to minimize any pain or discomfort you may feel. You may experience some redness, swelling, bruising, and discomfort after treatment, which typically resolves within a week.
